KIND HEALTHY GRAIN BARS
While it’s hard not to love a good granola bar, with its seemingly healthy combination of whole grains, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and honey, they are often so high in fat and sugar that the calorie count is the same as a candy bar. That’s why we are so happy our friends at Kind, makers of one of our favorite snack bars and granolas, have just come out with a new line of granola bars called Kind Healthy Grains Bars.
As with their other products, these granola bars are made with simple all natural ingredients: whole grains like oats, millet, quinoa, and amaranth, combined with other tasty ingredients like nuts, seeds, coconut, berries, peanut butter and chocolate. They are sweetened with brown rice syrup, maple syrup and/or honey, all low glycemic to keep blood sugar levels in check.
Each of these chewy and crunchy bars has about 150 calories, 24 grams of carbs, 8 grams of sugar, 3 grams of fiber, 5 grams of fat. They are gluten-free and available in 5 flavors: Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate, Vanilla Blueberry, Maple Pumpkin Seeds, Dark Chocolate Chunk, Oats & Honey… all of which are equally delicious!
