The Wimbledon tennis tournament is one of the oldest sporting events in the world, first played in 1887. It is the third of the Grand Slam events and the only major still played on grass. When the tournament commences Monday, all players will step on to the court in white, as they have done for more than 125 years, adhering the strict traditional dress code of The All England Club. This year’s tournament will be whiter than ever with accent colors being limited to no more than 1 centimeter of trim.
Now we think tennis whites are one of the chicest looks in sport, and no matter the tournament have a winning style that can’t be beat.
