Red Wing Pops Up

Iconic heritage brand Red Wing Shoes, whose work boots have been a staple of the well-dressed hipster for a few years now, has just opened its first pop-up shop in Manhattan’s Soho district, and with it the brand’s first women’s collection.

The Women’s Heritage Collection takes its inspiration from the extensive Red Wing archives and features styles like the Gloria, a tall lace-up modeled after the first women’s boot from 1926.  The shop also carries the Core Collection — featuring the 6-Inch Moc and Iron Ranger, similar to those from the men’s line — as well as the Modern Collection, with a more sophisticated take on these favorites.

Not just for the women only, the shop features the brand’s most popular men’s shoes and boots, along with a variety of Red Wing accessories, including their heritage socks, leather belts and buckskin gloves. All Red Wing products are crafted entirely in the USA with leather from their own S.B. Foot Tanning Company in Minnesota.

The pop-up will be  open through September 23rd at 98 Thompson Street. With the rugged outdoor look one of the big fashion trends for Fall 2016, a little Red Wing something is very much in style this season, and a timeless classic too.
