October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year we see more and more sport and lifestyle brands stepping up to the plate in the fight against this disease. Sport gear and apparel created specifically to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Fund is available on the BCRF website. Ralph Lauren, NFL, Asics, Dicks Sporting Goods, Everlast, The North Face, Zoot, Lands End, and Under Armour, among others (see complete list), are promoting their pink collections which donate a portion of the proceeds of sales to fund breast cancer research, education, and prevention. There is a lot of power in pink and sporting that bright color shows friends, loved ones, and even people we don’t know, we are all in this fight together. ROW 1: ASICS AWARENESS LONG SLEEVE TOP $50. ASICS has teamed up with Christina Applegate’s Right Action for Women, to help provide advanced screening to women who are at increased risk for breast cancer.
